Now maybe I'm being really thick here, but I've just been out to the Ka to change the rear wiper blade and and I cannot fathom out how to get the old one off. It's a 2007 Zetec Climate with the 'smooth' looking rear wiper and it doesn't have the usual clip I was expecting to see. Is it simply brute force and just pull?

Fold it back towards you, then pull the blade away. If you look kinda in the middle of the blade you'll see where it's held on

Thanks, job done. I thought that was the case but was concerned that the whole lot might come off in my hand.

They tend to snap after a while, had to change mine last year as the plastic became fragile. The other thing I noticed is that non ford wipers don't fit overly well.

Dont I know it I had one in the boot when I bought my KAsper and had to change the rear wiper, and the one that come from tesco is rubbish fit, its only just held in there >.< but yeah hopefully soon when i replace my front ones... soon I will replace the back with a better one! I was quite pleased that I worked it out for myself taking the old one off though.

Yeah, if you move it toward you on the hinge and hold it on the end closest to the car but not right on the end and almost try to over bend it the way it went on the hinge mine just popped off.

I've got an aero blade for the back of mine, had it two years but not got round to fitting it yet ... its now made its way from behind the sofa to down the side of the passenger seat in the Ka so who knows, it might make an appearance soon! Lol
